MNB announces Amy Dotson as new Residential Loan Officer

Merchants National Bank (MNB) announced today that Amy Dotson has been hired as Residential Loan Officer. 

“We’re excited to have someone with Amy’s experience and dedication join our mortgage team. She understands the value of community and the role community banks play in helping local families meet their financial goals,” said Sheri Smith, SVP, Director of Lending. 

Dotson is a University of Cincinnati graduate and holds an associate degree in business. She brings 25 years of local banking experience to Merchants National Bank. Prior to becoming a Residential Loan Officer, Dotson held a position in retail banking. 

Dotson is active in the community and is currently treasurer of Eastern Brown Athletic Boosters. 

“I really love being active in the community,” Dotson said. “My children are involved in the Brown County Fair and local youth athletic programs, and I really enjoy doing what I can to support those activities.”
