AAARC's Black History Month program rescheduled for March 9

The 2024 Black History Month program, presented by the African American Awareness Research Council (AAARC) and the Highland County District Library, has been rescheduled for March 9.  

The program will be held at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, beginning at 1 p.m.  

The Coleman family of Greenfield, and Josh McCoy, Senior Executive Officer of Adena, will be the honorees. The program will also feature a speech by Ohio State Representative Dontavius Jarrells of District 1.

The 2024 AAARC Scholarship recipients will be recognized. They are Ayden Clemons, Morgan Garman, Haylee Havens and Jenna Rhoades.

The program will feature musical selections. Everyone is welcome to attend.
