The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) in Hillsboro has announced their outreach sessions for the month of July.

The meeting consisted of multiple members and Cloverbuds giving reports and a full agenda of new business to discuss.

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club held its regular meeting on June 1 with a full agenda of educational activities, reports, and community service efforts.

The Alzheimer's Association's Central Ohio Chapter is hosting a new Caregiver Support Group in Washington Court House, meeting on the second Tuesday of each month – starting July 8 – at 5:30 p.m. at 1867 Old U.S. 35 NW, Washington C.H.

Each year, one out of every 10 Americans age 60 or older experiences elder abuse.

The Annual Rocket Run was held June 15 at Fayetteville High School. The rain stayed away, and there were 77 entries in the show.
