Kenny Shawhan shows dairy heifers at county fair

This year was a successful year in the dairy barn for one of our chapter members. 

Kenny Shawhan showed his two dairy heifers in the dairy show, and in Dairy Showmanship.

He placed first in the senior age division showmanship with his Winter yearling heifer and he then went on to win Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Showman. With his Heifers he placed first with his Intermediate heifer calf and first with his Winter yearling in the Jr. Fair Dairy show. 2 Hillsboro FFA members also showed dairy feeders this year as well. Collin Page placed 3rd and 5th with his dairy feeders, and 3rd in his class in showmanship. Kenny Shawhan placed 5th and 6th with his Dairy feeders and second in his class in showmanship.
