HPD responds to shooting on Windsor Drive; 25-year-old charged

On Dec. 7, the Hillsboro Police Department received a report of shooting that occurred on Windsor Drive in Hillsboro.  

Upon further investigation, a male subject was transported to Highland District Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.  

Additionally, Tristan S. Lovin, 25, of Hillsboro, was arrested and transported to the Highland County Jail.  

He is charged with felonious assault (F-2). He is scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsboro Municipal Court on Monday, Dec. 8. 

A preliminary hearing for Lovin has been set for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 16 in Hillsboro Municipal Court.
