Winning the first two sets wasn't enough for the Hillsboro Lady Indians to pull out a South Central Ohio League victory Tuesday night, as the Miami Trace Lady Panthers rallied to win three straight sets for the comeback win at Hillsboro High School.
RICHARDS MEMORIAL FIELD – There’s no place like home, thus far for the Hillsboro Indians. Coach Brian Spicer’s men are two for two in home games, following a thrilling, 35-34 win over the Gallia Academy Blue Devils on Sept. 4.
The McClain Lady Tigers met the Hillsboro Lady Indians at the Hillsboro Elks course on Aug.25. The Lady Tigers struggled in their first SCOL match of the year. The Lady Indians defeated the Lady Tigers, 225 to 242. McClain coach Tracey Cokonougher said, “We struggled with chipping and putting.”
