Wilkin announces $32.8M for Jackson County jail construction
State Senator Shane Wilkin (R-Hillsboro) announced that Jackson County will receive $32,819,178 to help build a new multi-county jail that will serve Jackson, Lawrence and Pike counties.
"I'm thrilled Jackson County was awarded this important funding," Wilkin said. "This is a major investment into southern Ohio that will help law enforcement keep our communities safe."
