The Fairfield Lady Lion volleyball team were winners Monday evening as they defeated Fayetteville at Grandle Gymnasium for a five-set Southern Hills League win.

The Fairfield Lions cross-country team raced to a second-place finish Saturday at Southeastern High School in Chillicothe as junior Michael Mangus led the way for all runners by winning the event.

The Fairfield Middle School boys dominated the field Saturday at Southeastern High School in Chillicothe, winning with a low score of 31 to runner-up Unioto, who had 89 points.
