In the HCP articles and photos about the area FFA Chapters the past several years, I have noticed that there are way more girls than boys participating in the FFA. I was in the FFA in the 90's. We had several girls in our Chapter. I guess there theoretically should be about half and half boys and girls in any FFA group. But why is it that girls have taken over the rank and file of the FFA nowadays? One photo I saw recently was 100% girls. Are boys lazy and just sitting around playing video games, with not a care in the world about their future? Are they not motivated to take an extra class? Are the boys oppressed by some over-lurching social and political movement where they feel unworthy of being a part of a great and successful organization? Put down the game controller, think for yourself, work hard, and join the FFA and go to Vo. Ag. classes.
