Fairfield junior Michael Mangus ran well enough to repeat as the champion of the Highland County Invitational Tuesday at Fairfield High School, as he raced the FHS Lions to their third straight HC title.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians continued their overall dominance of the girls race in the Highland County Invitational as they won the team title for the third consecutive season, with HHS senior Brittany Ferrell leading all runners for the win.

This past Wednesday, the Whiteoak girls cross-country team raced their way to a first-place finish, defeating four other schools along the way as all seven Wildcat runners tallied their best times of the season.
