The Fairfield junior high girls track and field team placed first this past Friday at the 2017 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Championships held at Lynchburg-Clay High School.

The Fairfield Lady Lions (12-1, 9-0 SHAC) continued their dominance over Southern Hills Athletic Conference opponents with a 15-0 shutout victory of the West Union Lady Dragons (0-12, 0-9 SHAC) in a game played Wednesday at the Fairfield Baseball/Softball Complex. Kaiti White had a great day on the softball field, pitching a no-hitter while leading the Lady Lion offense with three hits, including two doubles and four RBIs. White struck out the first nine batters she faced.
