Wildcats slip at Notre Dame

The Whiteoak Wildcats were defeated by the Portsmouth Notre Dame Titans, 67-52 Friday night to open the boys basketball season at NDHS.

The Wildcats (0-1) made six of their first seven shots to open the season. WHS has quarter scoring of 9, 9 18 and 16 while ND (1-0) scored quarter points of 18, 21, 11 and 14.


[[In-content Ad]]WHS senior Luke Taggert led all scorers with a game-high 20 points. Doc Seip, a WHS senior, followed with 17 points and eight rebounds.

Also scoring for the Wildcats were senior Gage Carraher with six points and junior Tyler Williams with five points. Justin Emery capped off the scoring for WHS with three points.

WHS will play again on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at North Adams.
