Mustang golf tops Highland County rivals

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustang golf team continued their successful start on Thursday as they finished with a low score of 182, defeating the Whiteoak Wildcats and Fairfield Lions at the White Oak Golf Course.

LC finished at the aforementioned 182 score and won by a total of 11 strokes, as WHS was second place at 193 and FHS was third at 229.

[[In-content Ad]]The medalist for the event was Whiteoak's Luke Taggert with a 41.

For LC, Linus Stoltz shot a 43, followed by Alec Smith and Zach Smith each with a 46. Marc Blankenship totaled a 47 for LC.
