The '12 edition of the Southern Hills League golf tournament began on Tuesday, as the two-week, four-course event began at Buckeye Hills on a 70-degree day with two Highland County schools sitting in the Top 4.
After the first day of the event concluded, it was Lynchburg-Clay in third place (181) with Whiteoak in fourth (200). North Adams currently sits in first place at 178, and West Union is second at 180.
The remaining standings following the first course are 5, Eastern Brown (207); 6, Ripley (211); 7, Peebles (213); and 8, Fairfield (217). Manchester didn't have a team score.
