After more than 10 years of advocating for accurate woodland inputs in the CAUV formula, the Ohio Department of Taxation has accepted the Ohio Forestry Association’s (OFA) data regarding land clearing costs and updated those inputs in the formula.

The Ohio Forestry Association (OFA) and Ohio Tree Farm Committee (OTFC) held their joint annual meeting and awards luncheon March 7, at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. Loggers, manufacturers and tree farmers from across the state gathered to hear important industry updates and present outstanding service awards.

The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation (OFAF) awarded scholarships to four students for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation will open its grant application window on Friday, Sept. 15. These grants will generally be small-scale and are designed to assist an organization in a conservation education project, with a maximum individual grant amount of $2,500.

The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation concluded its annual Camp Canopy and presented graduation awards June 16 at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum.
