    Cincinnati CBP discovers more unapproved weight loss drugs

    Since the start of summer, officers at the port of Cincinnati have seized several unapproved shipments of the weight loss drugs Ozempic, Wegovy and Trulicity. This trend is continuing into the fall as Cincinnati CBP seized two more unapproved shipments containing other weight loss drugs.

The items were deemed to be counterfeit by CBP’s Centers of Excellence and Expertise, the agency’s trade experts, and if genuine, would have had a combined Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) over $2 million.
