Wilmington student recognized by OHSLA

The Ohio High School Lacrosse Association has reported that Wilmington High School goalie John Noland is ranked second in the state for goals saved.

Noland, a senior, has played for the Wilmington Hurricane lacrosse team (0-6) for two years. He currently stands at 111 saves and 87 goals allowed, with a save percentage of .561 percent.

The Wilmington lacrosse team is coached by Erwin McIntosh.

WHS, a member of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, is one of only three schools in the conference with a lacrosse team. WHS travels across southern Ohio to play high school teams and lacrosse clubs, including the Clinton County Crusaders.[[In-content Ad]]
