UC men’s basketball’s non-conference schedule announced
The University of Cincinnati men's basketball program has its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, which includes the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout with Xavier among seven home dates.
All tip times, as well as the Big 12 schedule, will be announced when available. The league's home and away matchups were previously announced June 27.
Cincinnati opens with three consecutive home games before crossing the river to play at Northern Kentucky on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The Bearcats remain on the road that weekend to play at Georgia Tech, which it defeated at home last year, 89-54, for its eighth-straight win over the ACC.
Following a Thanksgiving Eve home contest against Alabama State, UC travels to Villanova for the Big 12-Big East Challenge on Tuesday, Dec. 3, reuniting with its old conference foe.
The trip to Philadelphia precedes weekend home games against Howard (Dec. 8) and Xavier (Dec. 14), the latter marking the 92nd edition of the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.
UC plays Dayton on Friday, Dec. 20 in downtown's Heritage Bank Center for the second-straight season in the Hoops Classic, presented by CareSource. Those tickets are on-sale here, with UC's sections from 112-128. Its non-conference finale is two days later against Grambling State before starting its 20-game Big 12 slate.

The second-annual Tip-Off Dinner, presented by the Herche Family Foundation Inc., will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 inside Fifth Third Arena (6-8 p.m.). This year's event will feature Hall of Fame Broadcaster Marty Brennaman as master of ceremonies, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Roy Williams as the featured speaker.
All proceeds directly benefit Cincinnati student-athletes through the Cincy Reigns collective. The event has reached capacity, but the wait list is available here to be considered if additional space opens.
