Tigers fall to Greenville

GREENVILLE — In their final road game of the season the McClain Tigers fell to the Greenville Green Wave 35-19 Friday night in a Week 9 non-league contest at Greenville High School.

The loss gives the Tigers an overall record of 1-8. In non-league games this season MHS finishes at 1-4. Currently they are 0-5 in the South Central Ohio League with one game remaining.

MHS scored 12 of their 19 points in the fourth quarter.

This is the Green Wave's fourth win in the past five games putting them at 4-5 overall.

This game was the most points in a game for the Tigers since their Week 2 win against Unioto where they scored 21 points, which was their non-league win this season.

Next week the Tigers will host the 1-8 Hillsboro Indians at McClain Field in the Rotary Bowl. Last season the Tigers gained possession of the trophy with a 28-15 win at Richards Memorial Field.
