Post 129 Baseball Update

The Hillsboro Post 129 baseball team will play in the Troy Wooden Bat Tournament over the weekend. Following the weekend games, the "Boys of Summer" will travel to Portsmouth Post 23 on Tuesday, then to Madison County Post 105 on Wednesday.

They return home on the weekend of June 17-19 for their Wooden Bat Tournament at Shaffer Park.

Here is a quick look at the season so far, as the Hillsboro squad stands at 1-6 overall, along with a suspended game they are tied in the eighth inning with against Chillicothe Post 757 by a score of 8-8. It will resume on July 5.

June 3 —  at Lima Post 96, L (21-15)

June 5 — at Columbus Braves, L (9-2, G 1)
at Columbus Braves, L (9-5, G 2)

June 7 — at Cincinnati Storm Club, L (16-6)

June 8 — at Chillicothe Post 757, 8-8
