North Adams runner, coach earn top SHAC boys track and field honors

The 2024 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year were honored at the SHAC spring sports banquet, with both individuals from North Adams.
The Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year is Cody Hesler of North Adams, who won the 100-meter dash, 200-meter and 400-meter dash at the SHAC meet. He was also a member of the SHAC championship-winning 4x400 relay team.
Earning Boys Track and Field Coach of the Year honors is Jeff Raines of North Adams. The Green Devils won the SHAC title with 141 points.
