Myla Toole was named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. She earns the honors for the first time in her career.

Toole, a graduate of North Adams High School, was named one of 42 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients on March 12. She is the first Xavier student-athlete to earn the scholarship.

Toole was named a NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country All-Academic Athlete on Feb. 2. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.

The Winchester, Ohio, native placed 15th at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships on Oct. 31, becoming the first female Musketeer to earn all-conference honors since 2021 (Rachel Butler). Toole led the Musketeers to a fifth-place finish at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships, matching the team's highest finish at the conference championship since 2019.

Toole finished her cross country career ranked fourth in school history in both the 5K and 6K races. She also finished her track career ranked fourth in school history in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and ninth in the 3,000-meter run (indoor). Toole is also a member of the 4x800 relay team (indoor) that ranks second in school history.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
