Mustangs have season ended in districts

PEEBLES — The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs boys soccer team saw their season come to an end on Monday with a 1-0 loss to the Peebles Indians at PHS in a Division III SE District Semifinal match.

The Mustangs finish the season at 10-5-3 overall. In the postseason, LC finishes at 1-1, defeating the Valley Indians for a sectional title last week.

Peebles moves to the district finals, where they will face Minford on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.

On Monda,y Minford defeated South Webster, 1-0 in their district semifinal match.

Seniors playing their final match for the Mustangs were: Andrew Chaney, Matt Greenawalt, Wesley Pierson, Zach Pingleton, Colt West and Matthew West.[[In-content Ad]]
