SARDINIA - The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs lost a Southern Hills League boys basketball matchup to rival Eastern Brown, 77-51 Tuesday night.
Eastern dominated the SHL game with pressure defense, perimeter shooting and rebounding.
The leading scorers for Lynchburg-Clay were Dylan Noll with 14 and Steven Collins witn 10.
"Our guards turned the ball over too many times which led to easy layups," Lynchburg-Clay head coach Jason McLaughlin told The Highland County Press. "Our lack of rebounding gave them (EB) two or three opportunities each possession to score."
The Mustangs now stand at 3-5 overall as this was L-C's second straight loss.
L-C will play again Friday as they travel take on SHL foe Manchester.[[In-content Ad]]
