Lynchburg-Clay 4th- and 6th-grade girls win tournaments

Congratulations to both the Lynchburg-Clay fourth-grade and sixth-grade Lady Mustangs as they both were the champions of the Mini-March Madness Tournament in Wilmington this past weekend. Both teams won in convincing fashion and ended the tournament undefeated at 4-0. Great seasons by both teams!

The girls were undefeated for the entire season and won the LC Holiday Tournament, the Highland County League Tournament and the Mini-March Madness Tournament.
Pictured for the sixth-graders are: (front) Samantha Pierson, Lexi Waits, Shelby Chisman and Hayley McConnaughey; (back) Coach Cheryl Waits, Shelby Marshall, McKayla Binkley, Hannah Binkley and Coach Randy Pierson.
They only lost one game all season, and won the LC Holiday Tournament, the Highland County League Tournament and the Mini-March Madness Tournament.
