Lady Tigers win at Wilmington Elks over CM

WILMINGTON — The McClain Lady Tigers girls golf team were winners Thursday as they won by 10 strokes over the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons, 185-195 at the Wilmington Elks.

"We have played well lately," MHS coach Tracey Cokonougher said. "I hope that we can keep this momentum going through the SCOL Tournament next Saturday, and into the Sectional Tournament."

The South Central Ohio League win by the Lady Tigers was led by medalist Morgan Dettwiller with a low score 42.

Savannah Olaker scored a 45, followed by Brittany Massie and Shania Massie with scores of 49. Taylor Rogers scored a 64, and Kaylee Smith finished with a score of 69.
 
For the Lady Falcons, Madison Phelps scored a 47, followed by Lacy Myers and Alex Merriman at 48. Also for CM, scores included: Molly Scroggy 52, Brianna Dearing 56 and Lily Heyob 58.[[In-content Ad]]
