• The Lady Mambas traveled to Erlanger, Ky. for the Hustle Warmup, a one-day basketball tournament. They finished 3-0 and brought home their second championship on the season.
They were 2-0 in pool play, beating NKY Tigersharks, 50-25, and Southeast Sun, 37-34. In the finals, they defeated Southeast Sun, 49-25.
"This was especially impressive considering we were missing three players and had others step up," Coach Derrick Haithcock said. "It’s great to see the team’s hard work and development paying off. The girls are clearly enjoying themselves and getting better each game. Big shoutout to everyone involved – players, parents and coaches – for making the trip and supporting the team. With an 8-2 record so far and heading into next week’s tournament in Xenia, things are looking bright for the Lady Mambas. Keep it up."
