Lady 'Cats fall to Rockets

     Recently the Whiteoak Lady Cats dropped a game to the Fayetteville Lady Rockets by a score of 63-56.

     Against Fayetteville, Haley Bingamon led WHS with 17 points, making five 3-pointers. Jessie Gilliland ended the game with 16 points, sinking two 3-pointers. Brooke Burns scored 10 points, going 4 of 7 from the free-throw line.

     Emily Hargett finished with five points, and Liz Carson scored six. Marissa Bohl scored two points.

     Shelby Sheets led Fayetteville with 15 points. Shelby Brown scored 13 points for FHS, netting two 3-point baskets. Emily Stahl finished with 10 points for the Lady Rockets.

     Rachel Gauche earned eight points in the win over Whiteoak. Desiree Dutro and Ashley Scoggins each scored six points. Jill Ryan had five points.

     FHS made 24 shots from the field (four 3-pointers). WHS connected 21 times from the floor, including seven 3-pointers. The Lady ‘Cats were 7 of 14 from the free-throw line. FHS was 11 of 21 in free throw shooting.
