Indians plow past Red Raiders

LONDON - The Hillsboro Indians traveled to Madison County Friday night, for the second straight week, this time to face the London Red Raiders.
HHS prevailed with a 36-21 South Central Ohio League victory at LHS. The win improves the Tribe to 6-2 overall 2-2 in SCOL play.
The Indians led 13-7 at halftime.
Junior QB Aric Carroll had two touchdowns, scoring in the first quarter (8-yard run) and fourth quarter (45-yard run).
Senior Airic Steagall had three touchdowns, on runs of 3, 6 and 60 yards. Steagall scored twice in the third quarter. Zach Fleming kicked a 28-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
Next week the Indians host their final home game, as they will take on the 4-4 Miami Trace Panthers. MT defeated the McClain Tigers 10-7 at McClain Field in SCOL action Friday night.
The win gives the Indians a perfect 4-0 record on the road in '09, with one away game remaining in week 10 at cross-county rival Greenfield in the Rotary Bowl.
