Five Greenfield youth wrestlers place in Fairfield event

FAIRFIELD — The Greenfield youth wrestling team competed in the Fairfield Youth Tourney on Sunday, Jan. 8.

Five of the seven local wrestlers who competed placed in the top four and received a weight class medal.
[[In-content Ad]]Leading the team was Quinton Smith, going 3-1 and placing third. Also placing third was Courtney Walker, finishing at 2-1.

Three Tigers went 2-2 on the day, finishing in fourth place in their weight and age divisions: Justin Kegley, Tanner Tite and Keegan Rawlins.  

Winning one match was Kade Rawlins, who wrestled up an age group for the competition. Wrestling two tough battles was Vince Snyder.
