Fairfield High School Athlete of the Week (Sept. 20-24)

This week’s Fairfield High School Athlete of the Week (corresponding to the previous week of Sept. 20-24) are as follows: Girls — Danielle Butler (soccer) and Cody Ferrell (soccer).

Danielle is a senior soccer player for the Lady Lion soccer team.  Danielle helped the Lady Lions end their three game losing skid last Friday.  On Friday, Sept. 24 Danielle scored a goal and added brilliant defensive play to help her team take down Southern Hills League rival North Adams, 3-1.

Cody is a senior soccer player for the Lion soccer team.  He scored the two goals in a 2-1 win over non-league foe Adena on Monday, Sept. 20; Cody also added a goal in a 5-2 loss to SHL foe North Adams on Friday, Sept. 24.[[In-content Ad]]
