Eastern downs North Adams, 53-43
The Eastern Warriors defeated North Adams, 53-43, in SHL action Friday, Jan. 28.
The Green Devils moved ahead on the strength of a 14-11 first quarter and managed to lead, 26-23, at halftime. However, the Warriors exploded for an 18-9 run in the third period and extended the lead on a 12-8 fourth quarter.
Eastern's Chase Lawson led all scorers with 22 points, followed by 19 points by Jordan Payne. Brett Stout, Kyle Purdin and John York each scored four points for Rob Buecler's Warriors.
Drew Dollich led Dave Young's Green Devils with 17 points. Caleb Harper scored 9. Seth Sparks and Sheridan Carroll each put in 7 points, and Kris King finished with 3 points.
