Davis finishes Boston Marathon

     Hillsboro resident Bruce T. Davis finished the Boston Marathon Monday, April 19 with an official time of 4:09:35.
     Davis finished 16,821th overall. He was 10,440th in the males category and 804th in his division.
     Davis, who has run in marathons across the state, qualified for the Boston Marathon in October at a marathon in Columbus, Ohio.
     Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya and Teyba Erkesso of Ethiopia won the men's and women's divisions, respectively.
