DODSONVILLE — It was a match for the keepers and defense of the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and Hillsboro Indians, Saturday at LCHS.
No goals were scored in the 0-0 tie, as both Highland County rivals battled on Saturday afternoon.
LC keeper Matt West finished with 14 saves, with Hillsboro having 20 shots on goal.
HHS keeper Corey Walker finished with 10 saves, on 15 shots at goal by the Mustangs.
"This was a good effort by both teams," LC coach Dennis West said.
The Mustangs will next play the Fairfield Lions on Wednesday at Fairfield High School. On Thursday, they will face the Blanchester Wildcats in a non-league match.
HHS moves to 5-3-2 overall. The Mustangs stand at 7-3-1 overall.
Hillsboro will face the McClain Tigers on Tuesday at McClain Field.
