2025 OHSAA/SEDAB Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients announced
The Southeast District Athletic Board has announced the 2025 OHSAA/SEDAB Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Recipients.
Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors, who must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and a minimum of three varsity letters in one OHSAA-sanctioned sport or four varsity letters in a combination of any two or more OHSAA-sanctioned sport.
According to the OHSAA, “Recipients are selected based on a point system which rewards students for grade point averages; class rank; community service; varsity letters earned; and individual and team athletic honors. The number of scholarship recipients from each district are based upon the number of schools within the district.”
The 2025 scholarship recipients are:
Averey Cottrill, Fairfield Union High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Abbie Deeds, Dawson-Bryant High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Elijah Ford, Ironton High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Walker Fowble, Oak Hill High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Carson Free, Paint Valley High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Ava Heller, Sheridan High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Ethan Hochstetler, Wheelersburg High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Addison Jackson, Federal Hocking High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Miller McKenzie, Wheelersburg High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Jacey McKnight, Marietta High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Jaekyn Ridout, Valley High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Maggie Risner, Minford High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Jayce Rothwell, North Adams High School - OHSAA Southeast District Scholarship
Dylan Shupert, South Webster High School - James Mains Memorial Scholarship
