The 14U Highland Pride fast pitch softball team took first place at the SCBA 4th of July Tournament held in Springboro.
During the three day tournament, the 14U Highland Pride team held their competitors to a combined total of only three runs.
The 14U team consists of players from Clinton, Highland and Ross counties who share common goals and a passion for softball.
This is the first year for the Highland Pride Softball Association — which was formed as a result of an expansion of the Leesburg Area Recreation Travel Softball Program.
The Highland Pride teams strive to promote sportsmanship, morality and a focus on fun while still developing the skills needed to play at a competitive level.[[In-content Ad]]
