Wildcats soccer falls at Eastern by 1 goal

The Whiteoak Wildcats boys soccer team lost in a Southern Hills Athletic Conference match Thursday (Aug. 27), falling to the Eastern Warriors by a 2-1 score. 

Whiteoak’s lone goal was scored by senior Abe Flader with the assist from freshman Koltyn Spitznagel. Spitznagel also played keeper for Whiteoak finishing with 14 saves. 

WHS is now 1-2-0 overall this season and 0-1-0 in the SHAC standings. 

Next for the Wildcats is a road SHAC match on Monday, Aug. 31 at Fayetteville against the Fayetteville Rockets at 4:30 p.m.
