Mustangs dominate with 33-stroke win over East Clinton

Playing at Snow Hill Golf Course on Monday, Aug. 18, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs boys golf team continued their winning ways by defeating the East Clinton Astros in non-conference action. 

Lynchburg-Clay earned the big win with a score of 164, while the Astros had a score of 197, giving LCHS a 33-stroke victory.  

Nolan Wilkin led the Mustangs with a nine hole score of 38 finishing the round with medalist honors.

Next for LC was Aiden Bene with a score of 41, while teammate Kristian Beachy finished with a score of 42. 

Lynchburg-Clay also had the following final scores for the event: Jackson West (43), Austin Manning (50), Carson Pfister (51), and Jayden Pettit (60).
