Mustangs boys golf wins against North Adams

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs earned a victory against a Southern Hills Athletic Conference opponent on Monday (Aug. 24) by defeating the North Adams Green Devils 155-194 at Snow Hills Golf Course.

LC’s Aiden Bene was the leader in the strandings earning medalist honors with a round of 36.

Nolan Wilkin was next for the Mustangs with a score of 39; followed by the trio of Austin Manning, Jackson West and Kristian Beachy each with a score of 40. LCHS teammate Carson Pfister finished the match with a 45 score.

The JV Mustangs also played as they had a score of 234. Jayden Pettit led the JV team with a final score of 55, while teammate Connor Case ended the day with a 58 score. Next was Colton Warnock with a 59 score for the event. The JV team also had Koen Collins round out the scoring with a 62.
