Mustangs boys golf dominate Hillsboro Invitational

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs had a big day at the Hillsboro Invitational on Friday (Aug. 9), as they competed against Hillsboro, West Union, North Adams, Paint Valley, Wilmington, East Clinton and Eastern, winning with a score of 318.

Following the Mustangs were North Adams (345) and West Union (358) in third place.

LC senior Braedon West and freshman Nolan Wilkin both shot an impressive 77, with identical scores of 39 on the front and 38 on the back as they tied for meet medalist.
 
Rounding out the team’s victory for the Mustangs were senior Saxen Wilkin (81), freshman Jackson West (83), senior Josiah Burns (89) and freshman Kristian Beachy (95).
