The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs boys golf team returned to the golf course one day following a season-opening win. Again, the Mustangs earned another team victory, defeating the Clinton-Massie Falcons, 162-163 for a one-stroke non-conference victory.

The match medalist was junior Nolan Wilkin of LCHS with a score of 37.

Lynchburg-Clay's Jackson West and Kristian Beachy each shot a 41 for the match, while Carson Pfister was next in the scoring column with a 43 for the nine-hole event. LC’s Austin Manning and Aiden Bene each shot a 46 in the contest.

Clinton-Massie's Corey Frisch recorded a rare hole-in-one in the match.
