Lynchburg-Clay boys golf tops Hillsboro and Unioto

The Lynchburg-Clay boys golf team won by six strokes on Friday evening (Aug. 15) by defeating the Hillsboro Indians and Unioto Shermans in non-conference play in a match between three teams from three different conferences at the Hillsboro Elks.

LCHS — from the Southern Hills Athletic Conference — carded a team score of 158, followed by the Hillsboro Indians (of the Frontier Athletic Conference) who had a score of 164. The Unioto Shermans from the Scioto Valley Conference finished in third with a team score of 170. 

Aiden Bene led LCHS with a score of 38, while teammates Kristian Beachy and Nolan Wilkin each had a score of 39 in the nine-hole contest.

Lynchburg-Clay's Jackson West came in with a score of 42 and Carson Pfister finished with a 43 score.
