Saturday (Oct. 10) saw the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs battle against non-conference opponent, the Valley Lady Indians at LCHS, but ultimately the home team Lynchburg-Clay squad lost by a 2-1 score.

LC’s lone goal was scored by sophomore Everleigh Barry with the goal being unassisted.

In the match, the Lady Mustangs had 12 shots.

This was LC’s first loss since the end of September, as their recent matches have seen them gain two wins and a tie before Saturday's loss. The last two losses by LCHS have been by just a single goal.

Lynchburg-Clay will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at home against Williamsburg with a 5 p.m. start at LCHS. The Lady Mustangs will then finish the regular-season schedule on Saturday, Oct. 17 on the road at Ripley with a 2 p.m. start in their Southern Hills Athletic Conference match.
