Lady Mustangs bowling wins Div. II District championship; moves on to state

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs are headed back to the Division II State tournament as they won a district championship on Feb. 16 at Shawnee Lanes.
Lynchburg-Clay won the four-team event with a score of 3377 as they had a regulation score of 2365 and a Baker score of 1012.
LCHS had game scores of 803, 843 and 719. Their Baker scores were 140, 155, 166, 159, 180 and 212.
Junior Kylee Chaney led LCHS with a score of 557 as her regulation game scores were 187, 193 and 177.
Kylee O’Connor was next with a 547 score as her regulation scores were 200, 191 and 156.
The Lady Mustangs had a 526 score from senior Maddie Brault with her regulation scores being 191, 200 and 135.
LCHS senior Lizzie Shreve finished with a regulation score of 412 as her scores were 125, 149 and 138.
Senior Jamison Miracle played games two and three with scores of 110 and 113 for a 223 score. LCHS also had a game-one substitution score of 100.
Also on the LCHS roster for the district tournament were sophomore Jo Knope and sophomore Bre Rosselot.
District runner-up Whiteoak had a final score of 3162 with a regulation game score of 2248 and Baker game totals of 914. Whiteoak’s team regulation scores were 726, 753 and 769. Their Baker scores were 168, 126, 155, 214, 109 and 142.
WHS senior Matalynn Conrad led Whiteoak with a score of 502 with game totals of 147, 172 and 183.
Senior Olivia Michaels was next for WHS with a 491 score as her regulation scores were 135, 163 and 193.
WHS senior Trulie Lamb totaled a 480 score, with game totals of 167, 153 and 150.
Siarra Kipp — a WHS junior — finished with a total of 390 with games of 175, 104 and 111.
WHS senior Madison Davidson ended the day with a total of 385 with game totals of 102, 151 and 132. Also on the roster at districts for Whiteoak was freshman Ivy Garrison.
The Div. II boys and girls state tournament will be held on Feb. 27 and 28 at H.P Lanes.
