Photos: Hillsboro football hosts '25 scrimmage against Blanchester

The Hillsboro Indians hosted a football scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Richards Memorial Field, facing the Blanchester Wildcats of the SBAAC. The two teams battled each other in their first scrimmage of the preseason, with one final preseason scrimmage left next weekend.
In the scrimmage, the Indians showcased their skills on offense, defense and special teams by making big plays on offense with multiple rushing scores, plus the defense made some big stops when needed in key situations in preparation for the upcoming 10-game regular season. The Indians also converted extra point attempts against the Wildcats.
Hillsboro is scheduled to travel to Clinton County next Friday night in their final scrimmage on Aug. 15 to play against the Wilmington Hurricane at Wilmington High School at 7 p.m.
The Indians open the 2025 regular season at home on Friday, Aug. 22 against the Western Brown Broncos at 7 p.m.
