OHSAA Swimming and Diving State Tournament qualifiers announced

The Ohio High School Athletic Association swimming and diving state tournament begins Tuesday at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton. It marks the first OHSAA state tournament of the winter sports season.
 
The boys diving state tournaments are Tuesday, with Division II at 9 a.m. and Division I at 2:30 p.m. The girls diving state tournaments are Wednesday at the same times. The Division II girls and boys swimming preliminaries are Thursday at 5 p.m., with their finals on Friday at 5 p.m. The Division I girls and boys swimming preliminaries are Friday at 9 a.m., with their finals on Saturday at 3 p.m.
 
With a seating capacity of 1,700 fans, Branin Natatorium is the largest swimming and diving venue in Ohio.
 
All sessions will be streamed live on the NFHS Network. Jennifer Beck, Greg Franke and Hunter Bell will have the call. The streaming coverage includes live results displayed over each lane.

Bowling and Gymnastics State Tournaments Up Next

Also this week, the Division II district bowling tournaments will be held, along with the Division I sectional bowling tournaments. The Division II bowling state tournament is March 1-2 at HP Lanes in Columbus, followed by the Division I state tournament March 8-9.
 
The gymnastics district tournaments will also take place this week, with the state tournament set for March 2-3 at Hilliard Bradley High School.
