Take charge of your diabetes

The Ohio State University Extension Office is offering this program at the Highland County Senior Citizens Center Monday, Jan. 29 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

The program includes learning about signs of diabetes and possible complications, ways to prevent or to manage the condition, how to take steps to control food portions and more.

The presentation will include a healthy cooking demonstration with taste testing.

The Highland County Senior Citizens Center will be offering basic/all levels clogging classes starting Feb. 5 at the center.

Classes are free to members. Call the center for details and to sign up. Have fun and make friends! Clogging shoes not required.

The Highland County Senior Citizens Center membership drive is under way! Stop by the center to visit us and see what all we have to offer our members. Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Ask us about our typical memberships, which are $20 per year!
