“Everybody loves to be involved in so called win-win situations, but
they are usually few and far between. That is why this situation is
perfect,” pastor Michael Ballentine says as he describes his newest venture
in the community. “We have joined with Community Market to offer the great
people of our community something wonderful that is truly a win-win.”
What Ballentine is talking about is a 90-second shopping spree at
Community Market. Tickets are $5 each. Plus, Serenity In Christian Union is
only selling 500 tickets.
“There are a few common sense rules to follow, but overall I am
banking that the winner of the 90-second shopping spree will put quite a bit
more than $5 worth of groceries in their cart,” Ballentine said.

“Community Market has been in downtown Hillsboro for over 36 years,”
noted the store manager of Community Market, Ed Bayless. “We have been happy
to serve our community with fresh quality and outstanding customer service
and reasonable prices. This is just another extension of how we continually
try to serve our community.”
“We know these are tough economic times and we are ecstatic to
present someone in our community with an opportunity to get a cart full of
groceries for $5,” the pastor said.

at Community Market and the actual shopping spree will be determined by

time that is convenient for all of them and will then be announced to the
