Senior Citizens Day and Senior Expo
Join us on Tuesday, May 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., as we celebrate Senior Citizens Day with the Senior Expo.
Once again, we are partnering with Clear Channel Buckeye Country to put on the biggest and best event ever.
This event is free and open to the public.
There will be more than 20 exhibitors showcasing services and products targeted to older adults, free health screenings, informational presentations, door prizes and lots of “freebies.”
Something new this year is an Energy Smart booth, staffed by Bright Elementary students, who will advise seniors on ways to save on their power bills and distribute free energy-saving light bulbs and shower heads.
Highlights will include a performance by the Silver Liners Line Dancers, Heartland’s Patty Roades with her popular “Name That Price” game and announcement of the 2011 Outstanding Highland County Senior Citizen.
The Expo will be broadcast live and it promises to be a really exciting day – don’t miss it!
