Sen. Wilkin guest at Hillsboro Rotary Club luncheon

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, state Senator Shane Wilkin, R-Hillsboro, was the guest speaker at the Hillsboro Rotary Club luncheon. 

Senator Wilkin gave the club an update on the latest work being done at the state level, and then held a question- and-answer session with Rotary Club members and guests. 

Sen. Wilkin is serving his first term in the Ohio Senate. He represents the 17th Senate District, which includes Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, and Vinton counties, as well as part of Perry County. 

He is the chairman of the Senate Public Utilities Committee. He previously served as the chairman of the General Government Committee as well as the Sunset Review Committee during the last General Assembly.
